Voyage to India
Chai or spiced tea is central to the Indian life‐style. Steeped in milk and sweetened with sugar, it is available at every street corner from ambulant vendors, the famous Chai Wallahs. It can be enjoyed at any time of the day and is offered to visitors as a gesture of welcome.
With this tea, flavored with my personal blend of spices, I invite you to join me on an unforgettable journey to fascinating India and its ancient traditions.
1. Ideally, use soft water for making your tea.
2. Do not let the water come to a full boil so as not to scald the tea leaves.
3. In a teapot, place one teabag per person, then slowly pour in barely simmering water.
4. Cover and leave to brew for 3 to 5 minutes, the time needed for the tea leaves to release their full fragrance.
